The ‘Save a Cup’ scheme was established by the vending, food service and plastics industries to gather together the millions of hard-wall polystyrene cups used every week in the UK.
This scheme is administered by The 'Save a Cup Recycling Company'. They have collected more than a billion cups so far for recycling, this company's objective is to increase the number of cups collected in line with Government targets for the recycling of packaging waste.
